I have just returned from "Inspired Stitches" with Quilt Fabric Delights. It was a wonderful weekend of sewing with more than one hundred inspired stitchers. I loved meeting so many of you and reacquainting myself with others of you. It was a Quality weekend with every detail looked after. The food was lovely, the venue perfect and Sarah and all her helpers were so good to Melly, Leanne, Janelle and myself. I am sure you can catch up with one of these girls Blogs to get photos as I didn't remember my camera!
I revealed my new Block of the Month in Adelaide. I showed you some sneak peeks earlier but here is the whole thing....
Buster, Bekkie, Lollie and Bella are having such a lovely time in their Dollies House. Here are some more close ups for you....
Can you see Magoo and Mrs Perkins in the nursery?

Some of the teddy bears are not too happy about wash day!
Have you seen how the mice are teasing "Cranky" the cat?
All the fabrics are from several ranges by Lecien. Most of the quilt is the delicious Minny Muu and there is also some Le Petite Jardin and some Lecien basics. I hope you like it all! I will be busy writing all the patterns over the next couple of weeks.
Enjoy your creation!

I had so much fun and it was such a great weekend. The designs we did were lovely and to see your 'dollies house' up close was a delight. I have put up my hand to do this, I can't wait.( I am a kid at heart). Thanks for a wonderful weekend and teaching me 'punchneedle', I love it and am looking forward to doing some more of them.
BIG HUGS for you,
Dawn x

Love the dolls house, I spotted Magoo straight away. I haven't bought the pattern for him yet, but he's on my wish list, he's adorable. My local quilt store has made up a gorgeous girl companion for him too, she has pretty pink lips all puckered up to lay some love on him. LOL. Glad you had a fab weekend, I'm sure everyone has gone home inspired! :-)

HI Rosie,
this is soooo different than what I would normally 'fall in love with'- but guess what- I have fallen in love with it. So gorgeous and I love it that it's got Perkins, Magoo and Beckie in it. Like I love novels by the same author who make passing reference to characters that have featured in their other books.
Top work!

Rosalie, you just keep inspiring us all. This is simply stunning.
My mum is affectionately known as 'Lollie' much to her dislike. I think it is kinda cute.

The dolls house quilt is just stunning. I can't wait for it to be a BOM. My 11 year old daughter Rebekah, has several doll houses but one in particular is the 'good' one that she and her Dad are busily making into a beautiful dolly retreat no one else can touch only look at.

Thanks Rosie for helping make my weekend wonderful! I had a ball, and have a sore throat (from to much talking and laughing) to prove it!
The quilt is even more spectacular up close! Great job and your choice of fabric is wonderful.
Thank you again :)) And wonderful to finally meet you!
