Most of my time has been taken up with playing with my new fabric, getting ready for the Glenharrow spring stitch in and also for Houston. It has been great but the list of things to do is huge! Yesterday, I decided to have a day off from all of that and work on a Melly and me project. I designed Leon a few months ago but didn't have time to work on him till now. Here he is...
He is a cute lion wearing shorts with braces. Here is a closer shot of the braces...
I had so much fun making him but now it is pattern writing time again. I seem to be doing nothing else!
One piece of very exciting news is It is the first day of spring!!!! I love spring time and the evidence is all through my garden.
I hope you are all enjoying your creative time!
Rosalie xx
Look how happy he is in your spring garden - too cute

He is just gorgeous! He would look just wonderful in my new nursery next to a couple of other Melly & Me creations. I could make an entire zoo with your range of softies! Keep creating the fun stuff, you're both very talented. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love the lion! My little girl (age 3) was looking over my shoulder when I pulled up your blog and immediately asked me to make her one...with purple feet of course! When will the pattern be available for purchase?

Leon is just the handsomest lion I've ever seen! Love his suspenders, or braces as you call them!
Your daffodils are just lovely and I'm so glad that your spring is on its way! We are just beginning our fall with crisp air and bright sunshine. The leaves should start turning beautiful colors all around us very soon, and then it will be apple picking time! My favorite time of year!
Have fun getting ready for your shows and playing with your beautiful fabric. You are one creative lady, and we all appreciate your sharing it with us!
