I am so excited because I have just finished binding my Advent Angels Wall Quilt!!
All the candy canes are in place in the various little pockets. We had to take photos quickly before all the candy canes disappeared (a bit of a favourite in my household)!
Imagine 24 days of your little one's excitement as they eagerly locate the date each morning and find the treat awaiting them! More than one child? Never worry - there's room in every pocket for LOTS of treats!
Of course, should you be a dentist, or a responsible Mother (LOL) perhaps you could fill the pockets with tiny notes from Santa...
The stockings are hung - how much fun:
The little gingerbread people are hoping the children will leave them at least one candy cane:
Guess what? Nearly seven months until Christmas and seven blocks to create this Advent Calendar.
After a speedy start to this project? It's already kitted and instock at www.underthemulberrytree.com ! Also, your local patchwork store, or favourite online store, may be running this program too, so why not contact them to find out!
Enjoy your creation!

The quilt looks great Rosalie. How did you manage to keep those candy canes hidden since last Christmas or have you got a secret supplier? lol

This looks so wonderful please tell me you are going to take advantage of Christmas in July to hang it up and admire. It would be such a shame to tuck all that carefully stitched love & patience away till December.

Rosalie - I love this Advent calendar, especially the gingerbread man. I did want to point out, though, that its only 6 more months (and 22 days) until Christmas. Hurry up and get sewing! I know I need to!

There is something infinitely satisfying about finishing the binding on a quilt. That last stitch, a little hurray and a self satisfying sigh and smile. The quilt has come a treat Rosie and it looks really beautiful.

That is so awesome. My son collects advent calendars and this would be perfect. I tried the link that you had on the site and was not able to locate your patten. Do you know what it is under?
Thanks
