Anyone remember that sentiment from Charlie and the chocolate factory??? Sums up my life at the moment. I have been getting stuck into work again after a fabulous weekend off with Melly in the city. We stayed at the Hilton and had a wonderful rejuvenating time with no one to look after except ourselves...Bliss!! You can read all about it here.
I spent last night binding my new beginners quilt made from the new "Flower Sugar" fabric and some LECIEN basics. I love the way it looks...
It is quite huge actually, 80" x 80". You can't see it so well in the photo but I will show you close ups soon when I write the pattern. The other pattern I am working on is for little Kira the koala....
Can you see her hiding in the Gum tree?? I am sure we can coax her down....
There she is! She can just hang in there a little longer while I work out the details of her pattern also. They will both be available as Rosalie Quinlan Designs patterns very soon. I will keep you posted.
Leanne, Melly and I also have some exciting news you can read about here. We can hardly contain our excitement about this one!
Enjoy your creation!
Rosalie xx
I love the new quilt, those colours and fabrics are right up my alley. Kira is just gorgeous sitting up in the gum tree. I am especially EXCITED about the exciting news :)

The quilt is gorgeous Rosalie as well as the advent calendar, love big quilts actually I very rarely make small ones, I like to use them as do visitors and grandchildren when they come over we make beds on the floor and to cover-up under so we can watch TV all snuggled up.
Happy creating, talk again I'm sure.
