The last few months have been very busy and very exciting with some really worthwhile projects. I have co-Authored a wonderful book for D&C with my sister called "Sewn Toy Tales", my new booklet "Petit Noel" was also written and produced, Leanne, Melly and I are busily organising a stitching tour to Vitnam and our first "Urban Stitches". In there somewhere is the soon to be released 3rd range of fabric "Folk Heart". With all this however, nothing has given me greater pleasure than my new role as "Mentor"! When Holly Wolfe, 4th year fashion student at RMIT, asked me to be her mentor in the patchwork industry I was over the moon! Holly is a unique artist with an amazing talent for cute, quirky designs for the young and young at heart. I am delighted to show you Holly's first selection of 8 stitcheries. These stitchery kits include pre-printed hanky linen and COSMO threads so you can start working on them right away! So, let me introduce to you Holly Wolfe Designs!

First look at "Folk Heart"

A few weeks ago I received my strike offs for my 3rd range of fabric for LECIEN called "Folk Heart". It was a very exciting day for me! I thought I would show you the combinations I have been playing with. That is the fun part, grouping, regrouping and grouping again as I imagine all the amazing projects I could make! I hope you feel a little inspired too!

Urban Stitches

Leanne, Melly and I are so pleased to be able to finally announce the details of our new look retreat, run in partnership with Under The Mulberry Tree for Spring 2011!

We have listened to your feedback and decided to make this year's retreat so much more accessible for those of you that are traveling from country VIC, interstate and overseas.  The Novotel is perfectly located close to the train station in Glen Waverley, with great value accommodation packages and is located right on the doorstep of great dining, entertainment and shopping.
