Hi everyone. Back again after a little break. Thanks so much for everyone's well wishes. One round of chemo down, three to go. I think I can...I think I can... In the meantime I have been playing with Cosmo threads to create a new stitchery kit to celebrate hope, love and friendship.
I have really enjoyed using a pink varigated thread on pretty, soft pink, linen. The kit will be available in varigated pink thread on pink linen, or candy pink thread on white linen. The choice is yours!
I have used some beautiful Flower Sugar fabric by LECIEN for the border. Feeling really girly and pink!
This stitchery has been so much fun to create! It is the perfect gift for anyone going through breast cancer as it will remind them of your frienship and support.
Speaking of support, my family and friends have been so amazing. I feel blessed beyond words! Here is a little sneek peek of a place I've been retreating to. Created especially for me by a beautiful friend. When I am here, I am safe, warm, and stitching!
Enjoy your creation,
Rosalie xx
Hi Rosalie,
Your positivity is truely inspirational..... I love the new design but then I absolutely love stitching most of your designs.... sending good vibes for the recouperating and the next round of chemo.... they call them rounds I'm sure because of it being like stepping into the boxing ring.

Just found your blog and the stitchery you are making is gorgeous! I will be watching for the pattern and hopefully can find it in Canada. I will be following your blog now and also your progress. Glad to hear you had good test results! One of the girls I work with has breast cancer and just had surgery a month ago. No results yet, keeping our fingers crossed. Will be thinking of you both. Take care!

Have been thinking of you lots! Your new project is beautiful, Rosie! My aunty is battling breast cancer at the moment and I have been wanting to sew something special for her. She is the only other sewer in my mum's family! I think this is the PERFECT project!!

Ooh Rosalie.. great design.. It is so good to see you getting your strength back. I met a girl at a Quilting Retreat in Rockhampton who is travelling along your road, and with the same courage. You are both so inspiring. Now I will purchase this design to make for her and give her a well deserved surprise. Thank you so much.
